Kodiak Photoreal WIP

Awesome work Robert. That Orange and Gray is a wild colorscheme. Looks very modern, like a Swiss paint scheme. (Cant lose that in the Alps, lol). Thanks also for the 'behind the scenes' glimpse of how these are done. I was curious myself.

Banana Bob, thanks for the insight, not that I understand.
Bill, I have a Kodiak question for you. I don't know where to ask & do not wanna hijack the thread.
Where can I go to ask?

How to instal repaint

Bob,

For some reason I am having trouble getting your repaints to show up in the select aircraft file. I have the .jpg's in the respective Kodiak and Kodiak float plan folder.

I may have just not installed anything correctly. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated for what looks like a great paint.

Thanks,

Tom

Awesome stuff Bob:wavey:! I also did that latter paint a while ago, I just used black instead of gray. That particular bird has very sleek looking wings.

Done, although the site is really going slow for me today. :ernae:

Let's see, did you copy the proper text to each aircraft.cfg file, one for the Kodiak and one for the Kodiak_Floatplane aircraft.cfg file? Then you have to replace the [xx] with the next appropriate numbers. :ernae:

All hard shadows gone and panel lines, now to fit it to the texture sheet. :ernae:

Hi Bob,

I didn't see any text to install. I looked for text but didn't find it. Could I have a bad download?

Thanks again,

Tom

There should of been a "READ ME" with it, here is what needs to be copied to your aircraft.cfg file, one for Kodiak and one for Kodiak_Floatplane.

That blue floater paint available? I took the JAARS paint and adapted it to plain/metal floats but would love to have the coordinated "collars and cuffs" to match !!
