Alright Bill.
I always make separate panel folders for these modification, thus have one called panel.fs2x, so I can always maintain the original. I just made another copy called panel.fs2xK simply for my modification to the original FS2X 206 Gauge folder. Copying and renaming it 'Kodiak' vs '208b' that now allows me the opportunity of messing with the xml files (which are editable BTW) within the new Kodiak gauge folder and maintain the originals.
I just started up the Kodaik with the FS2X panels pointed back to the new Kodiak gauge folder, and lo and behold, it worked.
Now to try and figure out all this darn code.
