Koolhoven FK.58 Glass

Hi All,

There is a wonderful Koolhoven FK.58 for FS9, modeled by Michel Migaud available here. It works almost perfectly in FSx, apart from abnormally high torque on take-off, and virtual cockpit glass that looks as if it were frosted. No propeller problems at all. I wonder if anybody has made some replacement glass textures for this plane?

Isn´t that included in the airplane´s folder already (the subfolder is named "KOOLHOVEN_FK_58_glass_texture")? Or do you think that one looks "frosed"?

The glass problem is easily corrected with a freeware program (DXTbmp). Load the glass texture and check the alpha channel. It's probably very light or pure white for FS9, but for FSX it needs to be just the opposite, very dark gray or solid black.:salute:
