L-4 Grasshopper Floatplane released

When will we get the Super Cub?

That's a very careful, ground up project, and being developed with help from our very own Fliger747 - who is limited in the time he can spare. However, his feedback on flight dynamics is priceless, so it's worth the wait - how many people do you know who are airline pilots, owners of the aircraft you are building, and are experienced beta testers? And know the aircraft inside and out on wheels, skis and floats?

Plus there are other variants being done, as well. So, it takes time, but I'll post screenshots when it's close enough to give an estimate on when things might be done. That's Tom's particular panel in my sig - a very nice contemporary aircraft.

It's not a big step to the Cub Crafters models - if you fancy doing a Cub that can take off in 19 feet.

Anyway - thanks for the floats! I have a few paint ideas for the L4 civvy, but I am also heavily backlogged with real world and at least a dozen other paint requests that I would love to honour.... if only I could get some sim time in...

Look forward to that TX

BTW - a simple "dont know yet" would have kept me happy!!

I spent all morning flying this plane around and uploading it to the website. What a bargain. :jump:

The Supercub, my plane was put together by cub crafters in 1998, though it is a 1954 A model, which I have been associated with since 1975.... I bought it from the guy from who the guy I learned to fly, learned to fly. Sometimes a small world.

Cheers: Tom
