Hey guys, I'm trying a port over of the LAGO Fiat G91 I know its older but it was one that I liked in FS9 and I'm getting a half black screen in the VC isn't there a config fix for that:jump:

Yep, go into the panel config and scroll to the bottom. . .change the last line to:
[Default View]
X=0
Y=0
SIZE_X=8192
SIZE_Y=5361

Falcon that did it I had to go a little large with the number for full screen but thank you you put me on the right track

she did good as a port as an older fs9 plane

No problem doublecool. I used to have that airplane. Actually Lago gave it to me for hosting the Lago Multiplayer Server for about two years while they were still a hot site. If I remember right, that baby was a rascal to start. I eventually gave up and uninstalled it, lol. I did however enjoy the AMX, which I flew in the one and only Tiger Meet. . .great fun then!

How did you get the gauges to work?

Mine are black disks...no gauges.

This thread interested me so I decided to try it too.
I installed it in a fake FS2004 file to start with, I copied and pasted all the relevant files
There is one gau file within a special gauge folder. The folder containg the gau file must be dragged into FSX/gauges completely for the gauges to show up.
I have an issue going from 2D cockpit to VC in that a postion of the 2D is retained at the bottom of the screen, I have used the above edit and 2D is great and uses full screen.
Now just to get the darned thing to stay started up and not blow the engine up.
 
All I did was find FX with installer and loaded to it
then moved the planes from the new aircraft file it created on load
ajusted as per Falcon ( I had to use the following) to get the VC to show in full

Y=0
SIZE_X=8191
SIZE_Y=6310

I think all the gauges are there??? I'll check that!

That Y value works a treat. Thanx.

I have it running in Acceleration and it flies very sweetly, though you do have to be gently with her, no running at 100% constantly.
 
I was able to get the gauges to work. For some reason I had a panel.cfg in my original FS2004 load that wasn't active. Once I made that the primary one everything worked.

WRT the engine dying on takeoff you have to make sure you engage the fuel lever and the ignition. It's in the manual.

Thanks for resurrecting this one. I had tried in pre-SP1 and SP1 days to get it to work but no joy. I forgot about it until now, thinking it wouldn't work.

The Old Lago MB339 Ports over perfectly as well only problem is the colored smoke red is no problem since FSX has one but ive found no suitable green smoke

and also the VC works great to my biggest surprise:mixedsmi:

and thanks for the tips on porting G-91 since I have the military fighters boxed edition (G-91,MB339,Mig-21)

OK, I understand.... do you think she's still on sale somewhere (since Lago no more in business today) ???
