Lanc cockpit issues

Seems more issues with some Lancs with the cockpit 'frames' or struts. See attached. I assume that changing a relative pit dds would fix it? Seriously, some, or rather the majority of of these are with the bad frames. I have fixed the glass for all the Lanc pits and bombadier positions and will try and fix this issue. There is nothing I can do about the port wheel bay, but other than that, when fixed I will re upload all of these after consulting Bravo4 and any others involved in the Lanc models.

OK this is a total mystery ?mess! I went through ALL the ETO expansion Lancs and found that NONE of them have a port wheel well issue! Some thing must have happened bewteen the ETO Lancs and the TOW versions. still cockpit glass issues. I am thinking that I will have to rework a lot of these by using ETO versions where possible and some m3d pit editing replacement, but definitely I hope John can work with me WRT to getting the correct textures. All in all a lot of work but good to know the ETO Lancs have no wheel well issues.

So I copied over all the ETO Lancs to TOW wrt those with wheel well issues. In ETO Expansion, the issue may still be there but for some reason it's not so obvious. Nest task would be to transport over the problem ac textures to a model which doesn't have this issue.

Well I'm mystified. A Lanc in ETO Expansion which has a reasonable port wheel well, has a major issue if the whole folder is copied over to a TOW install.

Well I don't think so. Checked another TOW install, I have many , and the same issue: OK with ETO but not with TOW.

Duplicate file name somewhere?

It's most likely a problem with the 3d external model. Either the wheelwell is missing or linked incorrectly.

I think he said that it's the same model file, just being rendered in a different install.

Yes. I transferred the ETO model to the TOW install. I will just transfer the m3d and texture files and see if that makes any difference in case I messed up somehow.

I'll check any other TOW installs and if need be I'll rebuild the install. I might also take out all other TOW installs as well!

Well that's interesting. The very first other TOW install I tried was fine with EM F!

Well that solves a problem even if no idea why. @ installs are good and 2 bad. I have too many anyway so away go 2!
