So, how would you tackle a large island that crosses STRM boudaries, & therefore becomes larger than the 10000 x 10000 pixel bmp limit for G2K?
Hi Uncle
Sorry for my few feedbacks recently but in Summer I'm very busy with my job ..

.. It's not my cfs2 season
What are the srtm files you use for your project ? I don't understand why you need a 10000 x 10000 pixel bmp
The Geotiff (5*x5*) are around 6/7000 x 6/7000 pixel it's the limit to not have the "auto redraw" CTD with g2k ,you can use them in this size .
The strm height files (1*x1*) have a size of 1201 x 1201 ,the swdb having a size of 4200 x 4200 ( a side has sometime less ) I often make a calq in psp with the both sized as 4200x4200.
After for a big project needing several geotiff or hgts files to be done you need to compose with quite as many g2k subprojects and bgls, three for each gtiff or hgts used ,one for the Land mask ,one for the water mask and one for the vtp1 poly and lines .
the two first being a copy and paste of the first coastline you have drawed starting the project

To connect all theses lines between themselves in the boundaries of these subprojects I use the LWM viewer "altered" to look the bgls ,drawing in g2k ,without launch cfs2 and corrige them as much is needed
