Last person standing?

I think this is why a good number of people watch restrictor plate races. I'm glad no one was seriously injured.

and its the reason i dont watch Daytona or Talladega ,id like to see both those tracks closed and made in to museums for racing, its not good racing,,,doesnt take real talent to be up front, most of the top drives will run 90% of the race in back, remember dale jarrett's wins?..and to my point of not needing much real talent to win and be upfront at Daytona...just look at dale jrs record at Daytona...
ill shup now..

What I would like to see on super speedways.

Flatten the turns to zero banking.
Remove the restrictor plates.
Use narrower tires.
Remove splitter, skirting, and spoiler.

Now they will have to work their butts off to control the car which is what racing is supposed to be.

At Daytona - reminds me of the destruction derby I used to go to.

Sadly that is why most (not all) people watch NASCAR......it sells tickets and ratings.

I don't think we will see too many changes in NASCAR in the coming years.

The next major change being contemplated by NASCAR is a reduction in engine power. Honestly, I think that could make every track a restrictor plate race.

Team owners union? If this catches on and spreads it could be the end of racing as we know it do to greed. Of course you can say it it will be NASCAR's fault for constantly changing things costing the owners untold millions.

Too many races on the calender and what appears to be a drop in audience numbers combined with NASCAR making up 'rules' on the fly don't help.
Same thing is taking hold Down Under, the V8 Supercar series is losing ground, audiences are declining and ridiculous race schedules are costing teams big time.
Australia is a big land mass, so what dickhead schedules one round in the Southern area followed by another at the Northern end two weeks later, and back down South for the following event.
Blood Muppets!!

Now that sounds like a plan but should be across the whole series.
:encouragement:
