• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Late Catalina uploads

BeauBrummie

Home for tea and tiffin!
Whilst sorting out a problem with the twin Cat pack on BeausCFS3 website. I realised that I had been sitting on a couple of Catalinas meant to be released after ETO 1.3 came out. They are standalones made from a couple of skins John made at my request. So rather late in the day they have now been uploaded to the site seperately to the original twin pack. You'll have to check the sound file is suitable to your installation. If yours is an ETO install the easiest trick would be to copy the sound file from an ETO Cat. There is a install/historical manual in each aircraft folder.

TK_PBY5A-Hornell VC for non- ETO CFS3 by Nachtpiloten 14Mb
On 24 June 1944, Flt. Lt. David Hornell flew his Canso from Wick. Seeing a U-boat he attacked and sunk it after taking a large amount of flak damage. His Cat was shot down and he and his crew spent 20 hours in the sea. Hornell saved his crew from the sea before he died and was awarded a posthumous VC. The RCAF's only VC of the war.
