Hallo friends,
I search for FS2004 a scenery for Leylystad.
If possible not only the Aviodrome but also with the shipyard where the Batavia replica was build.
Many many years ago my wife amd me visited the Batavia when she was still at the quai.
I know that the scenery exists in NL2000, But I want to avoid to install this big scenery as it will not fit with my other
WWII and before Netherland sceneries

Michael, I have two versions Aviodrome. The first does just include the museum and the old Schiphol terminal. The second is part of NL2000, as you have mentioned. OF course, you might install only the files named EHLE*.bgl.

My NL2000 version is an older one and looks like it would be straight out of FS2000! But, it includes two older sailing boats, where more or less the Batavia is moored today. They look quite different. Maybe the author had no other choice.

Bonjour Bernard.
ben pour le moment bcp de monde regarde sur les nouveaux sims. Je pense c' est l' efffet "nouveau jouet"
en tout cas même si j' en avais les moyens pour les nouveaux sims et ce qui va avec je resterais fidèle au bon vieux fs9.
Je ne crois pas qu' on puisse autant bricoller sur les nouveaux comme sur fs9
Pour les scènes de Lelystad, charger tout le mic mac de nl2000 juste pour récupérer les bgl, puis comment savoir quelles textures il faudrait avec?
bien trop de binz. Alors si tu peux me pointer sur la scène première ca serait pas mal.
Le terminal de Schiphol devrait etre possible d' éliminer car J' ais une version beta du Schiphol 1940 de Cees - ca ferait un conflit.
Pour le moment je me bats avec le Fokker D.XXI de Krysztof Malinowski.
le coucou est fait pour cfs2 avec un tdb à oublier.
Bon la j' ais fait un tdb qui est patchwork de differents screenshots (touvés sur le net) d' une version pour les nouveaux sims.
et desgauges de Fokker gi et de Gladiator (pour le bourin)
Pour ce qui est le comportement en vol, ca va à peu près un vrai expert ferait bien mieux -mais aparament personne y est y est interessé, bof.
La ou ca coince encore c' est le bloc de commandes pour la bourique,
je n' arrive pas à comprndre de ce que j'ais bricollé. J' ais reussi à ce qu'elle fonctionne, mais il y a des trucs bizarres que je narrive pas à resoudre.

Hi Michael,

Good news! I got the Batavia galleon. It has been done by Erwin Welker for FSX, butr it works perfectly with FS9. I already had it in my AI ship respectively Armada collection without being aware of that. It could be moored at the shore of the Markemeer.

je viens de faire un tdp avec le D21 à l' Aviodrome. Chouette et grand merci
Je n' ais pas pu trouver le Batavia - il était peut-être sorti.

je viens de charger le pack avec le Batavia et aussi le Zewen Provinzen.
Eh bien comme d' hab avec ses canottes de Erwin ca ne fonctionne pas
ca flotte pour trois secondes puis ca chavire et puis virevolte dans l' air
Juste par connerie j' ais mis les contact points du Bounty et la au moins ca flotte.
un peu hat sur l' eau mais ca "n' explose" plus. Mais ca n' avance pas et je n' ais pas vu que ca soit possible de les metrre en configuration voiles ferlées. Bof, ce fut un essay

Voilà le Batavia et le Zewen Provinzen naviguent
Avec un update fait par quelqu' un d' autre pour le pirate ship d' Erwin j' arrive à les faire naviguer.
C'est pas au top, mais ca me suffit.
Je vais voir si je peux en faire des static objects, quoique avec toutes les voiles dessus c# est pas ideal.
Si ca t' interesse, pour en faire des AI, je veux bien te les envoyer

Can't help you with Lelystad. In FSX I have the NL2000 version and I also have the Aerosoft version. The old Schipholt terminal orically cam from FS2004 scenery for Lelystad, but I can't recall who did it. And it disappeared when the payware version arrived, although Cees got permission to use it in the 1040 Schiphol scenery.
But I can't recall I have never seen the Batavia shipyard.

There weren't any Fokker D.XXIs at Lelystad as the polder only exists since 1968!

I saw you were struggling with Krysztof Malinowski's Fokker D.XXI. I don't know whether you are aware, but Paul Straney did several very nice Fokker D.XXXs as well. The model by Krysztof Malinowski is a typical Finnish Fokker with the heavy undercarriage. The model by Paul Straney is closer to the Dutch and Danish versions with the light undercarriage.

Hallo Huub,
the Lelystad problem has partially solved with the help from a friend.
What I still search is shipyard where the Batavia and the Zeven Provinzen replicas had been build.
It is only because I have a special affection to these ships. Many many years ago I visited with my wife the
Batavia and saw when the Zewen Provinzen has been build. It is just a personal nostaligic reason.
Concerning the Fokker D.XXI . I found one from Paul Straney. It seemed to be unfinished as it had just the beginning of a VC.
And it was in finish paint.
A personal remarl from me: you in Holland know how to win back land from the sea - where I live I see
year of year how the coastline came nearer and nearer to my house.

Good afternoon Huub,
coming back to the Fokker D.XXI,
I have two dutch ones, one I tried to convert from Krisztof Malinovski's CFS2 version with fuselage nummber 241
the other (I join a screenshot) which I believe not to be finished as there is non VC and no propeller and do not react to the rudder inputs even in the contact points 45° of steering angle is there She has fuselage number 221.
I believe the last one beeing from Paul Straney.
If you can point me to a better one, or send me a better one, I would be very glad about.
The 2D panel is finished and on my opinion do not look too bad

Only persisting problem: no prop. Perhaps an texture problem?
In any case I can live with out the prop as I fly her only from the 2D cockpit.

Your question seems to be unanswered. If you type "Batavia Leylstad" in Gogle Earth you will get the place where the Batavia is moored and where it certainly has been built too. I put the place in my FS9:

The environment isI purely fictious, but it's my only solution to use Edwin Welker's ship an way or another, Unless someone would depict the world in the Middle Ages without high rise buildings!

the scene as shows your screenshot will be right for me
In france we had a nice "mouvement" of rebuilding or conserve
old boats. It was a very big event in the years 1998 -2000.
With great meeting at Douarnenez and Brest. Sadly today seem to forgotten.
So you saw historic ships sailing at the modern harbour of Brest.
I remeber very well an bireme replica has come from Odessa to participate
to the vevent of Brest 2000. Oh it was fantastic !!!
I do not know if the Batavia and the Zewen Provincen are still kept sailing or if they have become static touristic pontons.
There was also here a project to rebuild an historic envirement for the Bounty, but never finished and the author has disappeared fromthe flightsim scene. Sad as he made some excellent aircrafts with fantastic sounds.
So if you can send me the scenery "je suis preneur" LOL
