Since it was a private airport and plane, there was probably nobody standing outside to steer passengers away from the props. Also on airliners, they usually shut down the engine on the side where the peeple are getting out. She'll live, so she was lucky!

A sad story. It makes one wonder how someone could walk into a spinning prop? Maybe an age factor(maturity)...she's 23,...or maybe a lack of awareness around smaller planes that do have props? Or like most of us,....we experience that occasional 'brain fade' and lose connection/concentration to our surroundings.....especially when there's a lot of noise that accompanies it.
