• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

SOH is my main flight simulator forum and has been for some time. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the work that goes into this forum in the background. All the services are really great especially it gives me a great place to upload my repaints. It is a place to learn and find an answer to just about any question you have about our hobby. Help is alway available on just about anything.

Thanks to all the moderators and all you folks with so much specialized knowledge on equipment and software issues.

I for one really appreciate all that you do.

Good work, SOH staff....the day wouldn't be the same if I couldn't start off with a visit to the Outhouse ! Seriously, thanks for giving us a gathering place to swap ideas, get help, or just share the love of flightsim and flight ! :woot:

Gotta agree. SOH is the best and wouldn't as great without the Staff we have. Stuff.. I meant stuff.... stuff the Staff can do to keep SOH on track. :friday:

Henry, I have to agree with you on all points, I am an Admin and Modirator for a couple of Hard of Hearing Forums, and I know how tough and often thankless a task it can be. Having beem around the online community since the days of Fido Net (if anyone else can remember 300 baud dial-up - Oh the pain to download an 800k file...lol) I must say this is the BEST online community I have ever belonged to. I know we all share a common interest and that gets us started on the same page, but the Mods and Admins here do a wonderful job at keeping the topic's from going off into flame war's and that is NOT easy sometimes!

I have to add an "Ears To Ya All" (Spelling mistake intended - inside joke I use on the Hearing loss forms...lol).

And a quick thanks to stovall for posting this topic, we all need to be reminded of the effort the SOH staff do to keep this community up and running and the enjoyment we all get from their efforts.

Oh and Henry, I guess I can't be included in the "most of us are human" category any more, I am partly Bionic now - I am not quite the 6 million dollar man, more like the $60,000.00 geek...lol
