Lexington Class Carriers in the 1930th and in WWII

Hey Joe,

Thanks very much for the effects. Like TARPS said above, I know it took you a while to get these effects positioned to your liking and I appreciate you sharing them. I also really appreciate your detailed explanation of how to add these. Heading to MCX right now to begin the process.

Thanks again,

Steve

I attempted to add the bow wave effect (for starters) to Klaus's Lexington in MCX and immediately got a "system out of memory" error when I opened the attached objects box. That seemed strange since the Task Manager only showed 55% CPU useage. Attempted to continue and got Object Write errors when I tried to save. :banghead:

Do you have the FSX SDK installed as you need some tools/apps that are part of it for MCX to work? And MCX needs to be setup to point it to these tools/apps where you installed the SDK.

Joe

THANK YOU JOE!

I have the FSX SDK in its own folder in Microsoft Games along with CFS2, FS9, and FSX. As to how it's currently set up to interface with MCX, I have no clue. When I've used MCX successfully I've always assumed it's working as a stand-alone. Guess I need a bit more "adult supervision" here. :frown-new:

Update: Here's the error that pops up as soon as I attempt to add an effect to Klaus's Lexington. (see attached) I can continue to go through the motions of adding the effect but the effect disappears when I save the .mdl file.

I like the new air group for Lady Lex Steve. I'm working on some some Big sister support for the 30's Lex/Sara.
Going to paint up her twin sister soon.
