Leyte 1944 missions...revised update

I just uploaded the Leyte 1944 campaign/missions.

It starts September 9,1944 and covers the attacks on Japanese bases and shipping in the Philippines and Formosa,The USN landings and defense of them,Attack on the IJN Fleet at Cape Engano ( The end of the IJN Carriers ) and Taffy 3.

There will be Kamikaze attacks also.

Outstanding work! :salute: This is no "pee-wee" campaign, it's well over 25 missions! This looks like fun! :ernae:

My late uncle served as an officer aboard a DE in Taffy ll. He was never able to see the Japanese ships but said he could see the shell splashes up north. When I asked him if he was scared, he smiled and only said he thought he would be swimming by lunchtime. I've always hoped someone would do this. Thanks again.
 
Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors by James D. Hornfischer, is an excellent read about the battle, especially the DDs and DEs who charged headlong into the teeth of the Japanese CAs and BBs.

Heerman, Hoel, Johnston, Samuel B. Roberts, et al, - their names were immortalized in USN history that day.

Need a little help locating a few downloads for this. I've searched simv for AF=Midway Kamikaze Pack & Bombardment pack and have come up empty. I know i have all the AF stuff somewhere on the many cd's or backup harddrives i have, but i'd rather just redownload them.
Also i have no idea what this is "PSK_AP_3"
or where to look for it. Any help finding these few files would be great. Thanks

Utilities for CFS2 at Simviation for AF stuff.

PSK_AP_3 is at shipyard at bottom look for sullys ships.

Vn_BigE44, Vn_New Jersey, and Vn_Essex.......does anybody know where these are? I didn't see them in our archives or in the library.

They changed a few things since I got these ships.

Vn_New Jersey should be in the Iowa class download
and the Vn_BigE44 is in the Marianas carriers USN.

It's been about 7 years since I got thems,LOL
