Leyte 1944 missions...revised update

OK. Seems all missions load now, still got a few objects missing but that's an easy fix (MR stuff).
My main concern was getting them to load. Flew a couple of em and watched as wingmen did what i told them to do. Watching the helldivers dive on thier target is a blast to watch:jump: Just wish we had an option like in fs9/X to follow the AI and staying out of harms way.:kilroy: Great job on these Talon.:salute:

Darn!.....Just ran the second mission and got an error message......'can't find........JMK_Akaimaru......'. Funny thing is I've got it in there clean and it won't show up for some reason. Anybody else have this problem?

Should I take it out and reinstall it?

Should be JMK_Akagimaru.If you ran the first mission you should be able to run the second mission. It is used in both missions.

Talon

ya, sorry Talon......I misspelled it. I just now took it out and reinstalled it but no joy! I'm gonna go back to the first mission and try it again. I flew the first mission two days ago, and I don't remember if there was a problem or not with it. At my age, anything past yesterday gets hard to remember. I'll keep you posted, thanks

'K I deleted my current pilot, added another and started the campaign again.....(shouldn't've done that though.......I, uh.....:jump:shot down two Zekes then pancaked into the sea........bummer!). When I load the second mission either through the campaign or separate missions, I'm still getting that error message. Go figure. It doesn't look like anybody else has had the problem so this is an alpha_1 prob.....any ideas?

y'know what guys? I'm gonna live with it 'cause the mission still loads with a substitute and plays fine. Mission three no problems for me.

Well, I must say I think this is the first time I saw the "arty shells" and I think I saw a kamikaze on his way in. I am glad you did all the hard work on these 2 items, I am still confused about how to use them, and I read the instructions several times. The only thing I have left to find is the "wep_jp_500kg_bomb". It runs fine, but I feel I might be getting off easy without it.

Thank you for this monster effort, Talon. I have no idea how long something like this would take to put together. I usually get bogged down trying to do the research for my dinky little missions.

For those less talented, like myself, we are very fortunate to have guys like you.

Before this I installed AVG and CATF on a new cfs2 install. Still trying to get the P-40C to show up. After I get all your missions on that install and then fly the heck out of them, dang it, I am going to make at least one amazing mission.

Leyte 1944 ROCKS:salute::salute::salute:

Thank SC, that should be the last item I need. I could have sworn I had these weapons, may have had them on a disc that gave up the ghost last week. Jeez, I wonder what else I lost?:salute:

Reply...

Talon has asked that I upload a new version of his "Leyte, 1944" campaign which he promises will eliminate the error / can't find messages that some users were have problems with when installing the original version.

You don't have to look anywhere else for it, I simply swapped out the file.

Virtual Navy ship

Guys, I get a message "cannot find the model VN_Wichita" - and neither can I lol. Is this one of our still missing files, or have I just looked in all the wrong places? Anyone that can help?

Thanks Talon - I had a little trouble finding the archive, but once found I DL everything in it just in case we get another loss. Thanks for the wonderfull Leyte 44 campaign.
