• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Library announcement...listen up!

Grief, Kasey, you must have pretty well the lot! Certainly better organised than I am.

Could you simply upload them all? If other people come along (ie, me) then it'll get confusing. Very confusing! I am aware of the length of time that could take, however.........

:kilroy:Nigel, I shall begin uploading tomorrow.

Yes, I do suppose it will take a great deal of work. I can promise to avoid dupes as much as is humanly possible.:d

Many thanks, Kasey! I honestly don't have the time, or at this stage of the year, the willpower to do anything more than the symbolic bit I've done so far!

It really is terrific to have these files saved for the rest of us, and others who may come along.

Nigel: If it weren't for your symbolism, it might not have gotten started.

Kasey: Yours is the sort of organization that saves those like me...

A lot of thanks to all.

:kilroy:Rami, if it is not too much trouble, could we have a few more directories in the CFS3 AvHistory Add-Ons Library section?

AvHistory Engine Sounds
AvHistory Miscellaneous
AvHistory Shared
AvHistory Weapons and Effects

This would make things a bit easier to find and neater.

Maybe even one for this group (probably not really necessary, but it's a thought at this point): AvHistory Operation Hangar Clear 12-2009

Thanks and keep up the good work.:d

:kilroy:Guys, I have just uploaded the following:

3gb_Corsair_mkII.zip
3gb_mosquito_mkxviii No248.zip
3gb_spitfire_9c_61.zip
3gb_spitfire_9c_66.zip
3gb_spitfire_9c_Basta.zip
3gb_spitfire_9c_haf.zip
3gb_spitfire_9c_hf.zip
3gb_spitfire_9e_126.zip

It will take some time to get them all up, so please bear with me.

More will follow tomorrow, then the next day, the next day, etc, etc, etc. Enjoy.:d

:kilroy:Rami, I seem to have made a slight repeat boo-boo. I have acciddentally uploaded 3gb_spitfire_9c_61.zip twice. Talk about duplication!

Sorry for the error. Could you please remove one of them?

Thank you in advance.:d

Alright fellars, I had a family emergency come up that needed attending to, but I can see that you are in capable hands with Grizzly posting up. So I'll lay back and let him run with it. I have the entire contents of the site saved, but his are better organized than mine, I merely copied their HTML files to keep what I had straight. I could build a duplicate of their site from what I've got. Grizz, if you run into any holes or need a break let me know, if we both try to post files we will invariably wind up with way to many dupes.

Good evening,

I approved all the new uploads for the AVH library, and added a couple of new categories, so that way it is even more streamlined.

:kilroy:Rami,

Thank you very, very much. That helps a lot.

It will take some time to get it all uploaded, and I certainly don't want to stress SOH server(s) or the SOH staff in any way.:d

Grizzly and others,

Just so you know, I was asked to take over the "Douglas" spot. Really the only people that are in charge of the day-to-day library functions are myself and Canelo, and Canelo serves only as an emergency / supervising role. It's my job, every day, to sift through and approve the uploads. So, I'm trying to go through on the fly and work on the libraries as time allows.

(With a full time teaching position, three kids, the eldest of which just turned three, and another, our last, due in about six weeks, it's often a fight to keep on top of this daily "chore," but I manage)

I think now the AvHistory section should be sufficient, but if you guys need anything else, you know where to find me.
