Lightstoo!

JD! Good to see ya back in the ground-pounding business! Off to grab these and thanks for all your work!!:salute:

Sorry for the dumb question (I'm kind of a specialist for that :p ), but is that a library to be used by airport designers, or is it something that will automatically replace the standard lights on the FSX airports ?

This would be a package used by scenery designers to enhance an airport. It would be great if there were a global mechanism to add these into the sim. Probably is, but I'm spending time pondering other things at the moment. Check back with me in a year or so...

Jim, good to see you back fiddling around! Always nice to have more stuff for placement purposes and you do good work. Just don't go Hollywood on us, ok??

Thanks Jim ! :applause:

FYI: I found it here:

[SIZE=-1] FSX Scenery Objects--Lightstoo! This set of lights is more specialty lighting in nature. It contains every color of edge, taxiway and centerline lights seen. It also has all the airport ID beacons in an easily placeable form. Also includes a smaller and dimmer spotlight than the last package as some folks had asked for one. By Jim Dhaenens."

Ok...I'm confused here. I followed the directions to a "T" and yet I'm not sure if I am
seeing any difference in runway lights. I use WIN 7 64 Bit with FSX/Accel. Is this suppose to enhance all runway lights in FSX or is this something that Developers use to make their own
scenery runways? I didn't notice appreciable difference. I will wait to remove till I
can get a clarification as to how/what this does.
