Not sure if anyone's posted this yet (my apologies if they have), but if you are interested...here's a 'Shockwave 3D Lights Redux' setting that works for me on the Lionheart Wittman Tailwind. Obviously you must own 'Shockwave 3D Lights Redux' addon for this to work. In the Tailwind aircraft.cfg, simply modify the [Lights] section as shown below. NOTE I've only tried this on the W10 model.

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing 6=taxi, 7=recognition, 8=wing, 9=logo 10=cabin
light.0 = 3, -0.09, -12.23, 1.63, Fx_shockwave_navred
light.1 = 3, -0.09, 12.23, 1.62, Fx_shockwave_navgre
light.2 = 2, -0.18, -12.28, 1.62, Fx_shockwave_strobe_2
light.3 = 2, -0.18, 12.28, 1.62, Fx_shockwave_strobe_2
light.4 = 1, -5.00, 0, 1.5, Fx_shockwave_beacon
light.5 = 7, -1.88, 0, 0.39, fx_vclight
light.6 = 3, -13.58, 0, 1.24, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l
light.7 = 5, 4.3, -4.00, -1.8, TW_LL, //landing light splash
light.8 = 5, 4.3, 4.00, -1.8, TW_LL, //landing light splash
light.9 = 5, 1.25, 7.0, 1.46, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow //right landing light point
light.10 = 5, 1.25, -7.0, 1.46, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow //left landing light point

Thanks!! :ernae:

The white light on the tail is NOT a strobe. It is a constant light just as the red/green lights are.

Yep...can be resolved by using the stock light.6:

light.6 = 3, -13.58, 0, 1.24, TW_NavWhite

All of the light effects used in the release with the TW_ prefix are custom effects that I created specifically for the Tailwind...

Bob: Any chance of you doing a similar setup for the Shockwave Lights Redux for the PBY Catalina? Thanks for all you do for us in the hobby...

Bill,

They are spectacular too! I have not seen such effects before. The way they emmulate the size and radiance level of a lamp that size is very well done.

Have you thought of doing your own light kit by chance as an addon for other folks to pick up?

Bill

Bob: Never-mind...I realized that the Catalina comes with the Redux lights already configured in the aircraft.cfg file in the [Lights] section...You just have to activate them...Thanks anyway!

I was wondering about those today, usually they are overdone and large, they look great. :applause:

The default lights do look great. I should clarify that my main driver for this change was to resolve a texture issue with the lights on the wing as shown below.
