Living 30 days on airliners

Lionheart

Hey all,

This is an amazing story. This gentleman had a fear of flying. He decided to try to kick the fear out with a pretty wild adventure. 30 Days on airliners. He chose an airlines that welcomed the idea, packed two bags, and set off. At night, the airlines let him sleep on the plane. During the day, he would fly roughly 14 hours a day.

He became friends with crew, captains, and ground crew. They even through him a beach party at one airport, and the fire department hosed him down (free of charge) at another airport.

If you can, read the story. Sounds like good fun.

My stepson and his wife left on a trip from Memphis to Vancouver on Saturday. He's never left Tennessee and never flown before. And he was sweating bullets about it before hand. He called when they were on the ferry over to Vancouver Island and when asked about the flight would only say "Awesome!".

My Mom had a good remedy for fear of flying: arrive at the airport early and slam down a couple drinks at the bar before boarding. :d
