Location of control config files?

I have been having difficulties assigning controls to buttons on my Moza joystick that I hadn't had problems with before. I want to erase ALL controller settings for MSFS2020, and may do the same for 2024.

I read about a string command I could enter which will do the trick, but it isn't working (I think because the string command may be for the Microsoft version, not Steam, which I have.)

Any assistance in helping me locate this elusive file? Thx, NC

On my Windows PC, for MSFS, the controller settings are located at:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs

Unfortunately, they are binary files, so I can't read or edit them.

However, controller profiles can be deleted from within MSFS 2020:

1. Options > Controls Options > click on the “Controller" tab
2. Under “Controller”, use the left / right arrows to select a controller profile
3. At the bottom of the window, click on “Open Preset Manager”
4. Click on the garbage can icon
