Bill Ortis of Lionheart creations that is...Bill is often to be seen at the leading edge of ga technology and his latest creation is right there! In beta at present, I've been lucky enlough to have a play with the beta:jump:

I have to be honest - it looks great but having bought concept products before I find I just never fly them. CPFH* is too high in my experience.
*Cost Per Flying hour.

Man that's a looooong extension cord... hate to be the guy to wrap it up after flight.

Funny how you manage to get your grubby little hands on about every new beta that's about to be released, Roger.

Nice photos Roger!

My little girl. :)

Avelina; italian for small bird.

500 NM range at medium cruise; 175 knots. She is a 2019 concept plane, into the future. Tons of gizmo's and beeps and computer things in the cockpit. This will not be for the average person, so no worries. :d

It looks real sleek and comfortable. Nice shapes, flowing lines and transitions. What's max speed of this Ferrari of the sky?

Hey OleBoy,

Sorry, Ive been massively busy.

High Cruise is 200 knots, and she will peak out at max throttle at about 215 to 220 knots. High cruise is about 3/4 throttle setting. Regular cruise is fast enough, at 175 knots for a 4 place GA plane. This will yield a 500 nautical mile range at about 6,000 feet, 2 passenger loadout.

This is a page from the center 'infoscreen' Kiosk. The Kiosk has all the pages, from radios to HSI to GPS, air con management, settings, all your checklist pages, etc, etc.

Thanks Bill. It seems as if it clips along fairly well. I'll watch the reviews. I'm really a concept (future flyer) so to speak, but it is GA. The shape is really attractive and sleek.

Many thanks.

I am a future flyer as well. I was so glad to get the ok from Epic to do the Epic LT. What an awesome and advanced turboprop. There is a small Williams prototype jet that I would also like to do that Rutan did. Beautiful little plane for a mini-jet. Also, a remake of the LearFan Learavia. Another nice looking advanced bird and with a V tail.

I love the exotics and wild looking things. Not always good for marketing though. :S

Holy cow! What a beautiful airplane. Not merely the skill that Bill has devoted in development of the virtual aircraft from the looks of her, but that once again Bill has chosen a compelling aircraft that few have heard of and rendered for FSX!

That's a beautiful design! Great job, Bill!

The "tail-lets" don't make much sense from a traditional winglet standpoint, since winglets add lift and you want the tail to be lift-neutral to minimize drag. But if you pretend they're there to add yaw stability, they're okay. :)
