In a hangar at the former RNAS Daedalus at Lee-on-Solent.

The Missus and I went for a helicopter flight over Portsmouth, and this was in the hangar that the company operated from.

It looks like another Auster will be taking to the air again.

Hi Jagd,

It was a short trip, but we did go over the harbour. Both of our Carriers were in, along with a variety of other ships. It was rather poignant to see The Ark as I'd just read that she was slated for the scrapyard (the usual story - new government = armed forces get shafted!). We have some good photos which I'll post when I can get the camera back from my eldest daughter.
