Looking for A CFS2 Fairchild K.R. 22 for the SCW

Like many of the aircraft I am enjoying. I can not find on for CFS2. there is one for another sim but I can not convert it DDS files. I very interesting aircraft but I have came up empty. any help would be great

Marty; I do not know if you are aware that the Fairchild K.R 22 is a camera for the Fairchild 22. If you want the plane what you should be looking for is a Fairchild 22. The most common one appeared to be the Fairchild 22C7D. This was ascertained by a simple search of the history of the plane. Forwarded for your information.

Paul Clawson made a beautiful one for FSX. Maybe that could be a basis for a CFS2/FS9 bird.

Just use Martin Wright's DXTbmp to convert the dds textures to another format used by CFS2, like 565 bmp, or DXT3... You might need to flip them also.

How would you convert the FSX to CFS2? I have changed all the DDS files into BMP but do not know how to convert the MDL fild. I would love any help in the conversion to CFS2. This could open a field of new and wonderful aircraft. Thank you very much.

IIRC There is no tool to convert FSX back to FS04 or CFS2 unless Model Convert X can now do FSX to FS04.

There is no way to get this Fairchild 22 to fly in CFS2. would one of the master builder in CFS2 make one of these airplanes for the game? They have made a lot of other aircraft but not this one. Thanks for your help and understanding with this.
