Looking for a few "experten"...

To all,

I am looking for volunteers to beta test the first installment of my BoB megapack. The installment you will be beta-testing is the Bf-109 campaign. In this campaign you will fly 25 missions as a Bf-109 pilot, escorting Stukas, Bf-110s, and various German bomber types as they attack shipping, coastal and Radar installations, and finally RAF bases and London itself.

The campaign runs from July 10th, 1940 through September 15th, 1940. I have used the Battle of Britain website to approximate times and weather, because the original pack that this came from had clear weather and noon start times for every mission.

The 20-mission Stuka campaign will not be far behind, and I will also begin beta testing some of the British campaigns as well. :d

Bob

Rami,

I'm involved with another project right now and with work and family can't take on a second. On the other hand, I can stick this for a while until you have your volunteers. Good luck!

Jagd,

Thanks. The whole project has made considerable progress, and it's time to start putting bits of her through the wringer.

Rami, sorry buddy, I just cannot. Several job requirements are keeping me from getting on here to read and post, let alone finish up the Tuskegee final campaign. I would love to help, but just like your last endeavor, my uncle had other things for me to do in other places. Jagd, I am sure, knows the kind things I am talking about, :censored:.

I have my personal laptop with me, most of the time, but connectivety is sometimes a problem, as is free time to work on anything. I also don't always have a joystick with me on my travels.:kilroy:

Hopefully, things will slow down in the coming months and I will be able to not only finish up the TA, but get back to beta testing.:icon31:

Yeah...my experience over Ramsgate harbor didn't go too well, did it?

I'll finish off the Stuka campaign tonight, and send that and the Bf-109 campaign to EC_ILO and jon0804.

I'll start working on the Spitfire and Hurricane campaigns tonight after sending that off to them.

The Bf-110 campaign still needs bases, and then there's RussBoB, Hurricane Scramble, August 1940, the Talon-converted CFS1 British campaign, and the German campaign that I updated from CFS1....oh yeah...the Luftwaffe bomber campaign for BoB as well.

Then there's later Europe and other projects...:banghead:

I just want to thank Mr. ETO Rami for all his effort and hard work for the pleasure of this community.:ernae:

Thank you again!

Rami,

Sorry to cut you off so early last night on chat...

I'm in the middle of finals right now; I'll consider helping you out after this week is over... lol

One drawback to CFS1 conversions...

To all,

One drawback to converting CFS1 campaigns, as Talon knows, is that CFS1 does not differentiate between ships as movable objects and ships as static objects.

So in CFS2, all of the static ships need to be set to move as a convoy, so you need to make each one a movable object. I wanted a "funneling effect" as the ships left the estuary, so it took a long time to set this up.

I have to do another one in Portsmouth harbor as well.

So if you ever wonder why CFS1 conversions take so long, that's why. Vehicles are the same way. :banghead:

I am here and ready to test. This will be good for my Europe install. (and my documentary-progress is slow) This "Experten" pilot is ready!

Finished flying the 25 - 109 missions......great job Rami:applause: - only problems I encountered were operator errors!!:banghead:

Full warping capability makes this much better than flying quick combat BOB scenarios, for those that don't enjoy the realistic channel flying and starting/finishing from one of Achim's excellent bases!

By installing a new aircraft folder containing the BOB campaign/mission AC and saving your old one - (be sure to include the non-"folder" combat overlay and default DP stuff) and saving my .qcb file in the Quick Combat folder and replacing it with the blank included below, you can easily switch back to your faves and quick combat capability. (delete the .txt to use!)
