• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I remember there being an early FW-190 model Mathias did for CFS3 before it was made for FSX, I'm pretty sure it came with MAW but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere.
 
Oh I wish it did, but I don't think it ever got out to the masses. I remember some awesome looking pics. Really a shame for us that he's moved on to FSX (although the quality of his work there is incredible and probably beyond what is even possible for our sim).
 
No it was never released, or finished for that matter!

THe FSX version is a completely re-done model!
 
The CFS3 version was only ever released as an alpha with rudimentary cockpit to the MAW team, it was never and will never be publically available.
I lost the source files in a HD crash. And yes, there may have been some teaser screenshots around.
The FSX version is an all new model.
