Looking for an odd aircraft...

Hi, Rami,

Search in the library the following files:
Avions Fairey Fox Mk 3.zip
Fairey Fox UPDATE #.zip

It's by MaddogK ans FS2004.

I converted it years ago with MdlC (Ivan's program), and it went well, except I had not the fixed textures, so I erased it.
I had no time to check the new texture, so you will maybe have to do some paint job...
You will also need some proper air and DP files. Bon courage...

Greetings from France

François

Mark,

If that works for you, certainly.

François,

Thanks for the leads on this!

Mark,

Any chance you could pick this up as a project? If you could model it and give it a good .cfg, .air, and .dp file, we might be able to get John to paint it and do some prop textures...they used these in a dogfight against 109s!

Like Francois, I looked at it, converted it, glanced at the texturing & put it back in the box. It really does need fresh approach. Either Shessi can unscramble the original, or perhaps Baldy might take a look - (isn't it just a Seafox with wheels)?:a1310:

Failing that, a paint job on a Hawker Audax or Fokker CX model might do at a pinch (I think you know where I'm going with this...)

John,

If worse comes to worst I could get by with Gladiators and Fiat Cr-42s, it was just an interesting idea as another lamb for the slaughter...

From 11 May...

"0900 Two Foxes shot down and 5 damaged (5/III/2) in combat with 109s of 3/JG 27 between Tirlemont and St Trond."

And, she was used in a lot of recce and ground attack missions. A Hawker Audax might work, but you'd have to soup her up a bit with a Hispano-Suiza 860hp engine, and four under-wing guns, as well as bomb racks. (Likely .303s)
