Looking For CFS2 Pacific Sceneries That Work In FS9

Anyone know of any good Japanese or American Pacific Theatre airbases that function well within FS9? Preferably Japanese, as I am in the process of creating my own IJN and Japanese Army AI traffic files ...

Flyboy,

At one time there was some effort to place Maskrider's CFS 2 scenery into FS 9, but I think the project died a quiet death.

CFS 2 scenery seems to work well in FS 8, but I think there is a scale issue with FS 9. Ian Elliott and Cees Donker have both made many airfields for both CFS 2 and FS 9. Perhaps they will have more insight into the problem.

Ive tried several CFS scenery in FS9 with limited success. Objects showup fine, but the air strips and surounding ground have little detail and look out of place.

Some of the Masked Rider sceneries work pretty well, others don't. It's the placement of sceneries versus the coastline difference between CFS2, and FS9. Some runways sit out on the ocean, others look great.

One needs to go through them one at a time.

I think I got the scenery objects to show up by creating a dedicated folder for them (with scenery and texture sub folders) and then entered them as regular scenery. ( Like you do with EZ Scenery or any of those object libraries.)

I found them worth fiddling with.
