John,

When the new library was put in place, one of the things that was done was to try and consolidate / eliminate patches and fixes, so that you don't have to install two or three updates for the same file.

This already includes the update, but I guess I never changed the file description. I fixed that now...

"Two barrage anti-aircraft balloons and one anti-torpedo network for CFS2. Gmax models have been done by Silvia Borja.

Composite package with the included update of the barrage anti-aircraft balloons and anti-torpedo network for CFS2 made by "Piloto Azul" and Xavier Berdaguer. FPS are twice higher in this version. You do not need to have previously installed the original package, because this includes the original files and the update.

By Xavier Berdaguer."

Many apologies that you lost an hour looking for the file you already had!

Care to share with the rest of the class? :isadizzy:

Rami,

I think John means the read-me files in many/some missions and campaigns have old links to required file and would require updating. That in itself may be nigh on impossible for the myriad of said files out there.

Jamie.

PS. Hi buddy, how's it hanging? Not been around much these days, real life and several to many re-installs have kept me away from most things FS related.

Jamie,

1) I do that already with all of my work, and I know that Skylane updated his, but for other people you have a valid point.

2) How am I doing? Well, all things considered. I am "Mr. Dad" for the summer...home from school until late August. It has been very warm here, with temps upwards of 34-35 degrees Celsius, and it has been very muggy to boot. My mom's having a rough time with the heat, but so far her dialysis is going okay.

On a personal note, Erica and I continue to hold our own, and make time for one another. It keeps the relationship healthy, and between the two of us our income is very stable, thank God.

My eldest, Sara, is going to be five in October and is a true scientist. If she continues at her pace, she'll be off training wheels by August...she already runs her bike at top speed down the driveway, and has had two scraped knees and elbows, but was at it again within two hours. I'm convinced that if I ever got her a chemistry set, we'd never see the cats again and she'd blow her eyebrows off. She, like her dad, has a talent for music, and can pick out melodies by ear...quite astounding for someone her age.

The twins (James and Michael) have turned three, and sometimes I swear the only four words in their vocabulary are "no," "mine," "mom," and "dad." But at least they are potty-trained now, so that's three out of four. James has the daredevil gene, he likes to climb onto chairs and see how far he can jump, where Michael is more cautious. Michael actually has a talent for art and music...he loves to play the piano.

Jayden has learned to walk now, and she loves to be around her big sister. We're closing in on having all four potty trained, and when we do, it will be a party, let me tell you. Jayden's personality is already developed...she's the funny one, a prankster, and a free spirit.

I've got my hands full, that's for sure.

How are you and Lindsay? (Forgive me, I can't remember your daughter's name for the life of me, sorry!)

At risk of making this a personal, howdy-do

Shoot me, lol. Haven't spoken to my olé buddy Rami for a while.

Glad that mostly things are okay, hope the heat abates to a comfortable level for your mom. We're pretty uncomfortable here with temps in the mid-high 20s with lows of 15 overnight (they're the worst to cope with, nothing worse than an uncomfortable night's sleep!!). This is NE Scotland, I'm used to temps in single figures, lol.

Glad your brood is keeping you on your toes, you wouldn't have it any other way, even if it doesn't seem that way at times. Give your better half my best wishes and your wee ones my regards (a cuddle sounds odd these days, it shouldn't but it still does, go figure).

My brood is fine, Abigale is now 9 and a budding artist, photographer, palaeontologist and a keen Jazz dancer. Grace is now 6 and a bit more social than her older sister, but trying hard to keep apace with her older sister on most fronts and managing. Jamie (junior) is a little 4 year old gentleman, a smart wee cookie albeit from his trouble with speaking (lazy bugger!!), which he is now fine (I told them he would be, he's just male with to many flustering females at his beck-and-call) (I'm not being sexist, that's just how it developed.) Olivia is now 2 and like your youngest, a well developed character whose first words were pretty much the same as those you mentioned. She's a chatter-box and a mountaineer, loves climbing everything. Oh and god forbid we say 'NO', she stands hands on hips and wags a finger at us, bloody good job she is cute, lol.

Kind regards old friend,

Jamie

John,

Those don't exist anymore, but I can tell you what to look for if you tell me who's campaign or missions you're working with.

John,

The 354th, eh? Well, let's have a look-see.

The "various fields" was what was needed for Holtenau, this is now redundant.

A little back story might help here: When I was working on the campaigns for Europe, I would tell Achim what I needed, and he would build the bases accordingly, so the bases I needed for various campaigns were enclosed in the package "various fields, various fields II, and various fields III." There were also updates included, which made things even more complicated.

When I rebuilt the library in 2011, I spoke with Achim and repackaged his airfields in the new library by country (Germany, Italy, France_North, England, etc.) with all the updates included.

So for the 354th, you'll need JHS_England, JHS_France_North, and JHS_England, as well as Oldenburg. That should suffice.

Oh yeah...Ettico's EuroTargets are now consolidated into one package, so don't pull your hair out: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=45&id=5989
