i downloaded and installed the IGmap for my iphone it needs the ip addy of my pc...thing is seems everytime i start my pc up it gets a new IP from ATT,where do i find the permanant IP and where do i find the "port" number or location?..im hooked to ATT's 2wire wifi setup..BUT the PC is hard wired..my iphone and laptop use the wifi..

Normally ISPs do not give "fixed Ips" but you can ask for one....Or if you have a Router it can be configured through it....

Ok First things first. Does you pc connect through a modem to ATT, and does the modem have wireless. Most providers can provide a fixed IP if requested, but usually your pc is connected vi a modem and the modem itself provides the IP address, ie the modem will have one IP to the WAN ( net) and the pc will have another ip LAN ( local ), basically to sort this out we need to know how you connect to the net. If you connect via a modem then usually you can assign your pc an Ip address that wont change.
