Really pleased to hear the legend is back; I still fly his Gannet and Lightning on occasion. I love how there is a following for British Cold War jets in Japan (among other other countries) where you might not necessarily expect it. Ito-San has modelled several un-sexy types that other developers would avoid, and I respect him for that.
Having had some eye problems myself in the last couple of months I can sympathise on a minor scale with what he might have gone through. Damn good to hear he is somewhat better now. Let's hope he stays that way.

His new '89 Batplane/wing is great. Normally I stay away from Sci-fi stuff but this one's a keeper. Would like to see a darker texture. Great job.:applause:

A Batwing.

I'm amazed.

I think Mr. Ito may have few equals when it come to creative variety. What an imagination!

A few "in-sim" shots. Wish I could put a shine on it, but the textures don't allow that, they become transparent if you add an alpha.

Ladies & Germs,
Here is the link to FDE's for Ito's Mi-12 'Homer', for both FS9 and FSX (seperate zips). His dynamics were GOOD this time (must of got help-hehe), but I wanted spoiler, flaps, and floats, so I made these FDE's. Hope you like.

FSX link: http://www.filefactory.com/file/c23f46d/n/Mi12_FSX.zip .

*There is one thing you must do. Change 'panel=hjaF' to 'panel= ' (ie: blank). Sorry about that. In FSX if panel is 'wrong' the model won't show/load, so this 'mistake' really haunts me (do it every time-hehe). Please read the 'Readme_cb' for info, tips, etc. Thanks again Kaz. Nice job.

At Itosan's admission his gauges will not work in fsX. I verified that statement when I installed it in fsX Gold. Has anyone come up with a replacement gauge set?

Switch Panels

No, I don't have no stinking gauges (hehe). But, I DO have a 'Works in FSX' PANEL, by HJ Altman, called 'jet' panel. Case closed. I also have a video of BatWing in FSX (looks/works the same in FS9). I made it VTOL and it flys like a charm. No 'heavy' trim pitch or trottle adjusting required. In fact the model SEEMS to have 'built in' pitch trim. With Ito panel in FS9, click 'Z' key to activate AutoPilot (but don't set alt or vert speed) and you will notice pitch trim 'follows' your elevator. Ha! That Ito is a funny guy. That's no problem, run it through MDLC and there you have it as shiney as you want!
Cheers Shessi
Ok, thanks for the HU. . . .however. . . ."run it through MDLC" means nothing to me. I'm not familiar with that program and the only one I could find (a beta version) would not load in Windows7 64bit.

I am very glad to see that Ito-sama is back. There are very few prolific Japanese designer in the community, so it's a big pleasure to see him return. :)

お帰りなさい、先生。(^_^)ノ

Hi Falcon,
Unfortunately no, MDLC is a 32bit DOS based prog and won't run on a 64bit OS. You could install a 32bit OS within 'Virtual Machine', but that's a lot of messing around. If you have an old laptop or anything running a 32bit OS, that would be the easiest answer.

Cheers

Shessi

Ivan Hsu talked of doing a 64bit version, but not to date.
