• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Luchtmachtdagen 2016 LIVE!

Going to be there for both days. Expect some photos in the photography forum after the weekend.

Thanks for the link Zsolt :encouragement: and looking forward to the pictures Ferry :encouragement:

The blahblah from (Dutch) commentator Leo van der Goot however was quite annoying again. His enthousiasms can't hide his total lack of knowledge :banghead:.
Nobody knows everything, but why can't he just limit himself to the things he does know.......

Cheers,
Huub

:monkies:

His partner Jan isn't much better, and his English is quite terrible for a commercial air line pilot IMHO...

But sometimes they can be entertaining I guess.

Two quick pics of the stars of the show, and the first time they are seen in Europe:

What I could see on the livestream, the high humid air caused some quite spectacular effects. I think you must have enjoyed yourself. The displays which were flown were quite nice. Apart from a few drop of rain the weather was reasonable. Perhaps a bit greyish, but I guess you need some clouds to avoid too much back light.

But there is always worse. The comments of Leo van der Goot were annoying, but the voice of the Italian lady who commented the display of the Frecce Tricolore cause permanent hearing and brain damage :biggrin-new:

Please keep the pictures coming Ferry! :encouragement:

Cheers,
Huub
