• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

MAIW Hurlburt Field scenery issue

Hey everyone,

I downloaded MAIW Hurlburt field for FSX and its a great package, but a few of the hangars around the airfield are black, and looks like the textures are missing. I followed the instructions and have the MAIW Libraries installed like it said, so I shouldn't be having this issue. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks for the input, just tried it, but sadly no luck. The package doesn't have a texture folder with it for the scenery.
 
The link given is for the FS9 version dated 2015. Try the FSX version at the top of the list by Brent Newman and John Young dated 2019.

Thanks for the reply, I tried the fsx 2019 version, thats the one I have installed. It seems like its missing the textures or something. Can you try installing the scenery and seeing if you have the same issue?

That is the scenery I have installed and that aircraft hanger is textured for me. Drop me a PM with an email address and I can send you my copy.

I already had the MAIW base scenery pack from having worked on Randolph so I grabbed the 2019 version of Hurlburt Field and installed it. . . .excellent scenery and no missing textures.
 
Fixed

Thanks for all the input gentlemen. Figured out that I had a duplicate MAIW_ABO.bgl activated in my addon scenery. Now that I removed it, I can see the buildings at Hurlburt!
