MAIW VFA-106 Gladiators Package

:salute: MAIW are going from strength to strength...
Thanks for the HU, Mike!

Slightly OT, have you noticed that the Sergei Bunevich MiG29 AI model used elsewhere has nosewheel steering?
I reckon it adds hugely to the package.
Someday all AI will be made this way... and they also won't go boing boing yawing around the taxiway bends!

Wow! Another great AI pack. While I keep my FS 9 set up primarily as a Silver Wings sim, I do add the MAIW sets and ignore the time warp when flying about their bases.

I visited the Key West NAS a couple of years ago while on leave. It'll be fun to see it from the air in FS 9. I'll have to get out my souvinier Key West shot glass and sip some rum while shooting touch and goes.

For those of you who want to upgrade the civilian Key West airport, the Calclassics Miami and Key West scenery is great stuff too and a VFR flight down the Overseas Highway (US 1) from Key Largo to Key West is a nice flight.

I am so happy to have the NAS Key West scenery especially, I did 2 TAD's there many moons ago with my Hornet Squadron, must be a great place to be stationed ... Mike

Just a heads up for you guys, there are a couple things that need fixed in that package that we will incorporate into a corrected version as soon as I get a chance to repackage the whole kit. All very minor stuff, nothing major and stuff that you can fix yourself if you feel like doing it. The support thread for this package has all the info. Updated version should be uploaded by mid week if you haven't D/L'd this one yet and want to wait for it.

Might have a Swedish Gripens package ready by the end of this week as well if I can get my act together.

There is a nice new USN "Centennial of Naval Aviation" repaint for the KBT F/A-18 F/G by Antonio Diaz up @ Flightsim ...

Mike ;)

That's a real nice repaint.

Since it's for VAQ-129 I decided to put it on the 'G' model. Took a little fiddling to get it to work on that model. Had to copy some textures from the original texture folder to get paint on the wingtip pods and engine inlets. Had to alter the alpha on the sh_01 bitmap to get it transparent.
