Killer Svend

SOH-CM-2024
Hi gents
Think you know a solution, I was ready to start a mission in the campaign I touched the top-hat on my stick and got a black screen when reopened the mission the cursor (arrow) changed to a black cirkle an nothing is function and it is the same in free flight, I do not hope that I have to reinstall the whole game, what to do?

Killer Svend,

This appears to be an issue with video cards, but I also wonder if Bruno's intense, dense scenery on Malta might serve to overtax some computers. I have not had such issues myself, but you're not the first person to bring this up. Also, it might be some quirk that is unique to Windows 7, which seems to cause some problems within the game.

Here's a thread on the latter: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?58603-Help-with-Windows-7-Please!/page2

Rami,

Thanks for your help, not only in this case but also in other matters. In the actual case, and in general I do not believe in miracles,... but when I restarted the game, everything was back to normal. I faced something similar long time ago I downloaded a Halifax and also a more detailed panel, when I tried to start the engines manually I got an enormous crash and it could only be solved by remove the whole plane from the game. But this was a different story.

This is pretty much the only Windows 7 problem that has not been cured yet. Any kind of panel set up that includes multiple directions seems to be affected. I.e. Panels with mirrors or rear views. The only cure I have come across is to replace the contents of the Panel folder. In most cases there are alternative panels but it is annoying
