Manfred Jahn's DC-3 conversion

Hello everybody

Manfred Jahn has been producing a very nice DC-3 for FS2004/FSX, with a lot of nice textures avaiable on Flightsim.

Both avaiable models convert with MdlConverter, but doors remain locked, all rudder/flaps and ailerons remain fix, and the tail wheel is locked on a 90° position.

Did anybody convert this nice aircraft, and solved these animation problems?

François

Bonjour François!

I tried when it was first released with Ivan Hsu/Morton's tools, but the resulting conversion was not even displayed by my CFS2.

I am afraid that, even if it worked, the model is so refined that it would be extremely heavy on CFS2 resources. I think, anyway, it needs to be reworked via Gmax, a simple conversion will not do.

Cheers!
KH
