Ed, I solved near 50% of issues in Prepar3Dv5 on Your airfields, the next 50% soon.
Do You have to plan update it for new simulator? Or if not can I publish this package (only bgl with new exclusion) for P3Dv5 SoH users?
Go for it. I have no plans to go beyond FSX or P3D_V4.5. Given the appearance of the MSFS2020 Sim, my scenery would be very dated. I'm guessing it would also require learning new ways to build scenery which I am not at all interested in doing (that's the main reason I dropped X-Plane).
 
In FSX, Buzzy's Field (ME89), seems to be missing the main building texture for some reason.
Anyone else with Orbx Global Base, Vector, and Open LC NA experiencing this ?
I think an Orbx texture has overwritten the (FSX default) main building texture used here somehow.
My Scenery library order and Orbx insertion point is all correct here.
Nice airfield otherwise.

. . . .Which I have. I did that field and never flew back to it afterwards, lol. Anyway, there's only one building on the Field, which on the satellite image appears to be at least 2 stories so the one I used (which is a default building) is due an upgrade. Unless someone has a pic of the actual building at that Air Field I'm gonna wing it. I'm also going to replace the other objects and get it closer to what it actually looks like.

For the time being, since the building I used is a default building the only possibility is that somehow either the original texture got deleted or overwritten. I can try to find the right texture, but it might be better to simply wait a few days til I complete the facelift.

I'm sure I speak for most FSX users here when I say I appreciate all your scenery packs and enhancements for FSX - a sim which is now out of the spotlight but still has so much to offer. Looking forward to this scenery down the road.

No need sir. As I mentioned in the post above yours, I have updated the scenery, removed the old buildings and replaced them with custom buildings. . .so the missing texture problem. . .is no longer a problem.

I also added seasonal textures (including Hard Winter Snow) and some additional vegetation. At least for me, this was a difficult airport to locate given it's location, narrow approach and lack of any obvious references. There are many small "ponds/lakes" in the area and openings in the trees can look like your airport but are not, even if you can see it on the GPS. It might take a bit to get familiar with exactly where the airport is and some identifier that will help you get your bearings.

I'm writing a quick readme, then I'll upload with info to Rami to remove the old version.
 
Ed but I wrote about a different location, it's N30 (version for P3Dv4), please see :). Two buildings are black. I havent idea why.

Well, the first thing I noticed from the overhead image is that you have a competing airport sitting on top of mine. This is usually because a person is running the North American Freeware Scenery Package from Orbx and it requires that you locate that folder and remove all references to N30 (4 different bgl's I believe). Aside from that, I think the T-Hangar that's black is a default hangar so that seems to be either a lost texture or it's been overwritten by Orbx for some reason. The hangar near the Fuel Pit is a custom building and again, causes would be a missing texture, a misnamed texture or an overwritten texture. I would suggest going back to the original zip file and letting it install over what you have and allow to overwrite everything. That should fill in the missing texture problems.

Screenshot was done before I patched it for P3Dv5. Now its ok (like on second screendshot), no this new defualt buildings from v5, but still no textures on this both buildings on N30.

The installation is original, I'll download it again and back here with info.
 
Ed, I checked again orginal files from N30 (from link above for P3Dv4) and I can confirm that no this textures still:



Of course I checked it in P3Dv5 but there should be no problems with displaying textures, they may be different issues but textures should be displayed if they were.
