Here is a short video showing some of the features that will be seen in Marianas 1945. Most of Pagan, Saipan, Rota and Tinian are complete. Still working on Guam.

looking really good tom.. Thank you :0.. Thanks for using the p-61 too. It looked right at home there.. ..

Just curious but has anyone ever created a driveable PT-boat for fsx??? would be kinda cool to set up a multi player mission with PTs and air cover :)..

Thanks for the preview. Seeing that P-61 there reminded me of the story of the B-29 that had it's entire nose section blown off, yet flew back to near the vicinity of Guam and the P-61 sent out to shoot it down after the rest of the crew bailed out.

B-29 and P-61 available for FSX? :icon_eek: I must have been sleeping under a rock, I missed those releases. Anyone care to drop in links for them? Or the developers? Ta. ;)

Pips, the P-61 belongs to Ito San and the B-29 is the old Shockwave Power Pack. I was lucky enough to find it at e-Bay for 11 bucks. The package has 26 aircraft with the B-29 being one of them. The only reason I order it was for this project. The static B-29's belong to Guy Diotte. Guy did them at request for the Iwo Jima scenery.

I am working up north right now tracing a couple more islands, giving them accurate shorelines. They were just blobs in FSX. Can't have folks flying to Pagan and see just blobs. Back to work.

That looks great. Which reminds me that I built and put a certain B-29 dropped 'unmentionable device' with close historical ties to Tinian in the sim and have not tested the thing to see if it works.
Looking forward to it.

Thanks Martin, I am well aware of John Young's model. The B-29 to be represented in Marianas 1945 is my only hold up now. My previous versions caused memory crashes and major problems. There will be about 60 to 70 B-29's displayed at the various airfields so the model used as a static aircraft must be just right.

The model made by John is looking very promising as a static B-29 but testing continues. All will be painted with the correct insignia on the tails. If this model works I will be in contact with John to ask permission to use it in the scenery. So far so good.

Thanks for the heads up, all help is greatly appreciated.
