Still loving Mario's work - flying a Polish Medical Air Rescue bird in these pics ... Fling in Poland from Gdansk to Mielec - All FS9 freeware ...

I believe they're very expensive too...
I have the FSD model and I dig it out whenever I feel like something completely different!

The distinctive sound in large part is due to the arrangement of the engines in pusher configuration. The exhaust basically being chopped up by the prop blades.
At 5-6 Million it is certainly a bit more expensive than my Saratoga but at 320 to just under 400 kts it is also a great deal faster :)

It compares very favorably to most of the so called VLJs and definitely has a leg up in speed over the KA200 or 350.

I have Mario's Freeware and the FSD Payware and I always want to combine the two.
If I had found the free one first I would have definitely not purchased the FSD model.
No need.

It's strange you brought this up. I had downloaded it a while back but quickly removed it. It wasn't the flight dynamics or the 3d model. Actually the panel bugged me. The forced perspective of the photo used for the 2 D and VC panels just didn't do it for me.

Then, this morning, I dusted off the zip, fired up Panel studio and paintshop pro and went to town.

After a few hours work, I had the bitmaps redone and a nice set of reality XP gauges installed.

Once I fire up FS again, I'll post a few pics.

I also de shined a couple of the paint jobs. Wayyy to glossy The originals had the alpha channel set too dark. Well cared for corporate aircraft are indeed glossy (I know the hard way from waxing a Challenger 604) but looking like the entire airframe has been dipped in liquid glass is another.

Here's the shots....

I enjoy this aircraft also in FSX. De-glossed the exterior textures a while back and that helped quite a bit. The fuzzy and camera flash affected panel bitmaps though have been in need of sharpening up and it looks like you have greatly improved this. Any chance of uploading these files here at the SOH?

It's a possibility... I'd have to work up another panel cfg using stock and freeware gauges to go with it since many of the one's that came with it are set up for the original bitmaps only... Plus I'll need to drop a line to Mario for permission as well.
