Marketplace closed (for me that is..)

After i tried to purchase a bundle of DC-3/C-47 liveries for $1,99 i seem to be stuck in there. No download started and for about 2 days now all i get is "Another transaction is still pending. Please wait a few moments, or contact support if this issue persists." These 'few moments' have turned into 'a few days' now so some cog wheels must've come to a hold.... There's no such thing as 'Reset Marketplace' is there ??...

I searched for it but it seems to require a lot of "turn off this and turn off that" and i don't want to mess up my current smooth working MSFS just to get Marketplace working again. I don't buy much there anyway but i do like to have that bundle of DC-3/C-47 liveries.

...." or contact support".... What support exactly would that be ? Is there a seperate Marketplace Support or just MSFS Support ?...

Any hints/ tips highly appreciated ! Thanks very much ! :encouragement:

@ Denny: Thanks! I did stumble over Zendesk as well but it wasn't anything like your link. Just recently had a bad experience with sort of a global support site called 'Howly', charged me $39 for a monthly subscription without me knowing anything about that, and they couldn't solve my problem neither.... Luckily their unsubscribe worked well. Ha!

Zendesk via your link looks good. Read everthing about Marketplace 'pending' error but nothing about this pending message just sitting there for days and nothing happens and i can't buy anything anymore... Someone suggested to Sign Out/Sign In but i'm not a fan of that because of the trouble it took me to even get an MS account 4 years ago... It's all and only depending on software and we've seen a couple days ago what that can lead to... Sometime in the near future something will go horribly wrong. We've created a monster that's about ready to loose our control. Remember Frankenstein.. ( i wish i could say "just kidding" but i'll say it anyway. I'm not a fatalist nore a conspiracey theorist. hehe ;-)

@ updraft: i'm on Steam and running MSFS plus Marketplace for 4 years no problemo ( well no serious annoying problem like this anyway..)

If no solution will turn up somehow i'll try and do the 'Sign Out/Sign In' thing. Or leave Marketplace for what it is and wait for MSFS2024... :cool:

Javis, I had the exact same thing happen to me last year. A message to the Zendesk page (which is the support link directly from Flightsim.com, so it’s legit) and a quick exchange with a support person resulted in things being reset and it’s all great ever since.

Zendesk is just a task-management software package for support people, so no dangers of a scammy attempt to charge you.

Seriously, file a ticket and they’ll do some voodoo on their end and get you unstuck.
 
Reset = ..... run , WSReset exe. ...... and wait a few seconds ~
Thank you, Brytskiva, tried that but didn't make any difference. 'Purchase in progress' still going strong.. Tried signing out of MSFS and back in but to no avail as well. Thanks for the help! (y)
 
Marketplace for what it is and wait for MSFS2024
if there is a problem with the marketplace,i do not think it will work there.......if you use the same ms acounts.
and if you use a other or new one,all old are lost....this must be fixed,if you are on steam,i think maybe ask there support,i use ms store for the sim.
so i do not know,but i think you pay via steam?

Jan, you might want to check what the purchase actually was and if there is enough money in your steam wallet. Ralf is right, marketplace purchases are done via Steam and Steam has a wallet that needs to have sufficient funds in it.

At the top of every page on the official form you'll find a "Support" link. Click that, then look to the right at the top of that page and click Submit A Request. Make sure you're signed in with the same credentials you use for the sim, then follow the prompts.
 
Hey Tom, excuse my ignorance but what is 'the official form' ?..... I guess you don't mean flightsimulator.com ? (if i try to look for support there i end up in a forest of support options and possibillities and in the inevitable end i'm asked if i want to close my account... :topsy_turvy: )
 
Yessir, thanks Spook, but i was directed there already a couple days ago but non of the solution options helped me get rid of the problem.

1) Go to Flightsimulator.com
2) Click “Support” at the top of the page
3) On the Support page, click “Submit a Request”
4) That will take you to the page where you can describe your problem to a support person and they can “unclog” your marketplace.

Thanks Denny ! The thing is though : when i go to Flightsimulator.com there is no "Support" on the top of the page to see....

I see this at the top of the page from left to right : InsiderHome Media FAQ Community PartnerProgram Store

that's it, no Support ......

However.... i've been there a couple times of course and i DID find that "Submit a Request" on the FAQ. I'll wait for the email i just sent, see if that will solve anything first..
