Marshall Islands - Available now!

Want a flying vacation within the Pacific islands region but can't afford it in RW. Well, you can now. Marshall Islands has 8 airports ready for sun n' fun flying this week for those who care to explore the atolls and islands.

Arrive on a Boeing 747, Airbus A340 or regional commuter and land on a very thin sliver of land call Majuro Atolls. Marshall Islands International is one of aviation's fascinating airport wonders. Its 8,000ft runway straddles just over 500ft wide lime-coral piece of land that divides north-south rough seas of the vast Pacific ocean. Not only is the runway width slim, but arrive 10 hours from anywhere and you'd find yourself challenged by constant cross-wind and unpredictable monsoon-type weather.

Ooh. Perfect timing, just got the credit card paid off. I'll restart the never ending cycle by purchasing this.:jump:

Oh goody goody. I have both the PNG and Tuvalu scenery, and they are great. Been looking forward to this one.

.
Yeah, likewise on both counts. And on a related vein, this'll make doing an "Amelia Earhart" run a lot more interesting, as well.

Great job as always, still like to fly your VFR Appalachia and this is looking just beautiful. Boy if they had a small tsunami come across here it would take out everything.

LOL...I've actually been to Majuro. The atol lagoon only mind you. I was driving a Navy ship at the time. We didn't get liberty as our ship on liberty would have been a significant percentage of the local population...not a good idea.

Great looking scenery.

Jim

Thanks Graham . It certainly looks like it is built with VFR Appalachia's high standards which will make it an outstanding addition . Really looking forward to it .

Great Stuff

Graham - Great looking scenery. For exploring outlying atolls, ship wrecks and float plane operations Marshall Islands can't be beat! Thanks. (Any chance of doing VFR Appalachia Part Deux? The more the merrier!)
