This is nice! I think I came in a bit hot on my first landing. Thanks Radioman!

Excellent B-26, thank you. Ive been trying to go thru my Grandpa's pics looking for his B-26 he was member of. This B-26 earns a special spot in my hanger.

Radioman123,

I hope you don't mind, but I altered the original package so that it contains the missing prop textures, rather than approving a fix.

I`ve replaced the sound with the one from this package:

http://www.flightsim.com/file.php?cm=SEARCH1&fsec=0&fname=HHIKER.ZIP

Sounds better for me.
Michael

I replaced the 2D panel with this package's panel. Also replaced the DC-3 gauges in the VC with the gauges that came with it. I like the looks and operation better.

I also learned to keep up the speed on landing and stop stalling/crashing. From what I have read about the real Marauder, this is quite realistic.

How to do this?
Would you please explain me?
Thanks
Michael

Download HHIKER.ZIP to get the panel and gauges. Modify the VC sections of the new panel.cfg as shown below.

I hope my changing your cockpit doesn't upset you . I spend my cold winters fooling around with airplane panels. This in no way indicates that I am unhappy with your great work.

People,
As the Warbird´s Library manager said in this topic, the original package was updated with the missing texture (B26B_propblur.dds). I just made a test redownloading it and it´s all ok. Just redownload the package and try again ... :ernae:

B26B missing texture for Props

All

The revised distro has the prop texture that was missing from the original disto. It somehow got dropped in the cleanup process.

If you are having a problem with black props, please redown load. It should work fine as the revised distro has the missing texture. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards

Hi Radioman
your Marauder is the best on all aspects.
A little problem though: what's wrong with the sky appearing on the boxes around these two gauges in the VC ??
Anyone else has this ?

Reposting of texture

Radioman123,

I hope you don't mind, but I altered the original package so that it contains the missing prop textures, rather than approving a fix.

No problem. It was a minor oversight by me. Too many late nights working on this.

Replacement of gauges and other refinements

No issue. In the early versions I was using the Hitchhiker gauges and attempted to contact Rob Clark for their use. He does not seem to be active in the hobby any longer, therefore could not obtain is permission for use.

To launch the model, I needed to replace all of the gauges and that is what we have which is a combo of DC-3 gauges and my own gauges. There is always room for improvement. Rob's gauges are rather old in they date back to the 2000 timeframe. As a rev A on this model I would like to work with a true gauge expert to get something that is spectacular. In addition I have all of the flight manuals on the bird and would like to work through a complete cold start sequence which would take some additional coding.
