Martin Baltimore Mk. V update by Allen!

Just drop me a PM with your email address and

Check amongst my posts on my 2D panels thread... I think you've been there before...
If you want to use it... all you have to do is create a config for it...

I will send you the original BMP file

I have the one you made for the Giuli Baltimore but it is not right.

I am wondering if Alphasim had a good panel.
I am willing to give it a try.
But how would you send me your bmp? we can pm each I suppose. Let me know.

Nick

I may have a file from the old Alphasim panel bitmaps that will do.
You can get them all at flightsim.com

Baltimore panel

I thought of Alphasim panel. I checked the 100+ free ones from Simvation and looked at http://www.virtavia.com/Freeware/index.php as well. Nothing any closer than what gaucho_59 has made.

Allen,
I have worked on a baltimore panel on the basis of the picts you sent
Here is the result, it is not perfect but looks rather like the pict

If you want to use it, the bmpfile is in the following zip

My pics posted are taken from Monografie lotnicze 97. The panel is same for Baltimore I, II, III and IIIa (A-30). I don't know if the Mk. V had a panel different.

Good afternoon,

This looks pretty good! Please keep me posted, I will be happy to test.

Maybe I'm not sure. I have pushed the VC back quite a bit. Below is the straight ahead view from the VC. Haven't added the 2d panel yet as I'm working on adding the a yoke to the model.

Only model work at this point. I'm thinking that she is heavy. I have to pull back on her to keep level at at over 200MPH. It also could be a Center of Grav issue as she wants to nose down.

Maybe this looks more like it...

When I did the first version, the picture I had was rather dim... so I missed the yoke pedestal... but essentially, the rest is OK...
The picture you got from the net does not show a cushioned sunshield edge either... I think this is closer to it now...

That should work fine. Used it to make the VC. I'm not going to the the VC much better.
Allen
I drew a VC panel to look more closer to the pict you put on this thread

here is the BMP file

If you think this VC panel is correct for your bird, I can adapt this bmp to your "panel BMP texture"
You just have to send it to me in this thread, I will do the job.
Cheers

I did note the uncushioned sunshield edge.

Can you sent me the two Oxy and Oil pressure gauges? I don't have them. Also fited the bigger panel to the VC.

Hey,

I'm still working on the elevator pressure, but there are two animating issues in Gmax that perhaps could be dealt with...the cockpit canopy and flap deployment. Is that possible, Allen?

Did flaps but the cockpit is not going to work. The cockpit frame area is a clusterfark... I tried for 2 hour to get it done in the VC and it was mess in game. Vertexs were welded to other tertexs they shouldn't have been and some polys were missing as well.

I can put the model up for download in gMax fourm so maybe some one else can do it.

Glad to help you
Here are the gauges and my VC panel layout
