Maskrider's CFS-2 NAS Glenview

Stoney

Are you certain MaskRider did a NAS Glenview airfield?

As far as I know he did not but I could be wrong. If it exists I'm sure someone will speak up here.

Hi Stoney,

I did the screenshot for Jeff Peterson's Glenview. How does your version show up?

I don't know of any version done by MaskRider.

Hmm... I am using this only in CFS2 as it seems to be for CFS2, not FS2004. So this quote in the ReadMe is my issue,"I assume that you have MaskRider's CFS-2 NAS Glenview installed." I thought I did but apparently not so. When I view JP's scenery
( https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/resources/glenview-nas.2881/ ) please note it is available in the CFS2 scenery section, there is no airfield, just the runways, even though there is a bmp called 'glenviewnaswa' in the texture folder!?

I'm probably explaining this badly, but the main issue is the airfield land class will not show even though the airfield bmp is present, and Jp's scenery has described his scenery as an "update to set Glenview NAS and that "You must have Glenview NAS original download because that has all the textures needed for this airfield." These are quotes in the JP Readme. I wonder where the 'original download' is.

Thanks guys!grab_030.jpg

I had a look at JP's readme file. Regarding MaskRider, you only need his Library Objects which are in the CFS2 Scenery Objects section.

I suspect the reason the background bitmap is not showing up is because of an elevation issue - possibly Rhumba's mesh which was not released when Glenview was created.

Try these two files. I may have adjusted the aerodrome elevation to suit the mesh in 2012.
