Good afternoon,

The Bruno Duffort P-40 modifications have been removed; the terms of the original readme specifically state that no modifications are allowed to be made.

I did not modify anything of the bruno models,only change the name folder,
only because of the rush
I put the common releadme that I put on all the planes.
I am in very poor health and I was making great efforts to preserve
all the models that I had breakable.

I put a common readme file for everyone to make it easier,
I can delete them in these bruno models and upload them.
All models have the originals releadme.

I'm sorry if I was wrong, I had no bad intention.

Same thing with the P-38J/P-38L by Pascal Auterive/Bruno Duffort:

You cannot:
- Re/upload this archive in a site
-Use the MDL for a repaint without asking authorisation to the plane designer Pascal Auterive
-Use air file, dp or textures without asking me.
-Modify ANY file into this zip to re-upload it.

You might want to check whether Bruno Duffort actually is the author of any significant piece of those projects or just assembled pieces that others actually built at which point, I don't believe he would actually have any claim of ownership to those pieces.

Any of the aircraft models with Bruno Duffort's name attached were originally available on his website exclusively. He was the sole distributor. Each model was a collaboration of French authors, one of whom is Pascal. He'd create the 3d model, then Bruno would write the flight physics. I'm not sure, but I think Bruno may have created the textures as well. ( There's no time in my current work schedule to check my archive.....this is a hit'n'run visit...)

Bruno was also the "online presence" regarding this series of flight sim planes. His collaborators would comment lightly, but Bruno was the interactive "inertia" behind this endeavour.

I would give his readme's total credence.

Your efforts are appreciated, and I know you mean no harm. But we need to respect the original authors restrictions for legal reasons and just for our own integrity.

It takes very little effort to try to contact the authors and ask permission. Make an internet search for the person who may have moved on to other sims or work to find a contact information, or send an email to last a known address, or send a PM here and or at Simviation. Or all 3. A lot of these guys are still around even though no longer involved in flight sims.

I have never had a request for permission turned down and sometimes it has even led to some cooperative work.

Some guys are unreachable though. In which case, you tried. Document that effort and we can provisionally post the work to preserve it, with the caveat if the author then later appears and protests, we will immediately remove the work.

they would publish their models, what I'm going to do is solve the models that need
permission for the end.
