Captain Dim is just not very bright...
IMHO they certainly were when they released their first FSX products, particularly their 'legendary' product line like Mig-21, F-104, 707 and 727. Modeling/texturing wise their work was second to non in those days. As modeling/texturing happens to come first on my FS priority list i was probabely their biggest fan.
I never understood much of the bickering and bad mouthing towards CS that was going on just about all thru their FS add-on career. Sure, if they would've been as brilliant with systems- and flightmodeling and patch delivery as they were in the modeling/texturing department things would've turned out a lot better for them. So you're probabely right, when it comes to that they were a bit dim.
No surprise that in the end they've fallen victim to the Dark Side.
I still have fond memories of the ol' Captain Sim. Always when they released a new model and i was very exited about it i made sure i wore no socks because i was absolutely sure they would've been blown off upon first looking at the new model. Typical jaw on the floor experience.
With this truly pathetic and helpless move to try and scrape some money from the bottom of the MSFS add-on pit it is clear that Captain Sim is dead..
Hello AT Simulations ! (well, for one..) (wasn't CS from Ukraine as well ?...)
