McDonnell Douglas DC-9 under development by Coolsky (payware)

Nice to see that McPhat is also doing the VC graphics. That is my only complaint about their MD-80's. The VC's are way too low resolution, so I don't even fly them.

Can't wait to see how this one progresses! :jump:

Looks like it's real light on frames also? Saw these specs and couldn't help but chuckle;

Flight Simulator 9 or X With SP2 or Acceleration.
CPU Athlon or Pentium at 1.8 Ghz
512 MB system memory (preferably not shared)
Hard Disk: 1.5GB of free space available.
3D Video Card with at least 128MB unshared (not integrated graphics)

Anyone running FSX with such a machine, please speak up! :173go1:

I'll now return to cleaning the shower....:running:

Well, seeing how Coolsky's MD-80 is regarded as one of the most performance friendly aircraft (with in-depth systems modeling), the DC-9 won't (hopefully) be that far off.

Well worth the price IMHO, but I'll admit to being a full on DC9 enthusiast.
:jump:

I've been pondering for a looooooooooong time about getting SkSim's DC-9, but my conscience just doesn't cooperate.

80 bucks is pretty hefty and difficult to reconcile, but i must admit that ive payed far more for a good aircraft ( a few times ). I guess for me personally, buying the plane would boil down to the quality of the support thats offered, and whether or not i could prove a need for that aircraft.. I have Skysims DC-9 and its a lovely little plane, but i dont fly with any VA's that use them, so for myself, that 80 dollars would be very difficult to justify, but she does look very very sweet..

New video, looks freaking brilliant:

Also new VC-shots at McPhat facebook-page are astounding.

Finally bought this a few days ago. And they've recently added repaints for the USN and USAF C-9
