    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Bad News: We were hoping to bring you a spectacular MegaSceneryEarth 2.0 - Hawaii product however due to a problem with more than desirable cloud coverage in some areas of the original imagery we were able to source there are some areas that do have about 3 to 5% cloud coverage. The artifact is present on the islands: Hawaii, Maui and Molokai. It is not that drastic but significant enough for us to decide to not release it as a commercial full price product. The Good News: However, we know you all want to fly the entire Hawaiian Island chain so we are making it available to you, if you want it, at a price that will cover the bandwidth and server costs and other fixed costs to deliver it to you. That price is just $5.00. This way you can get to enjoy flying the Hawaiian Islands. Incidentally, the areas and islands that don't have this cloud coverage are truly spectacular and worth a lot more than the $5.
So the product itself is free but we are just asking you to pay the $5 to cover the bandwidth and server costs for the 8 Gb download.
When we are able to source a 100% cloud free Hawaii imagery we will re-release as a regular full price product and we'll also give you a rebate on the $5 you paid for this not-quite-to-commercial-standards edition.
