I'm still out here working and will be through the end of January. I've pretty much been absent for a couple of months at SOH. I don't have much free time right now, but wanted to let all know I'm still alive and kicking. I'll be back soon. A Hawaiian Merry Christmas to all. :running:

Aloha Captain Kurt.

It's good to see that you are still alive and kicking. Hope you enjoy the Holidays out there in Hawaii.

I was out there earlier this year and had a day off to see the Arizona Memorial. It's really been improved over the years.

Hi Jagd,

First place I visited here last August. Next weekend, I am taking my son who is visiting for the full tour to the memorial, the battleship Missouri, the submariners memorial and the Wings of the Pacific museum. I think the sacrifice of those sailors should be honored with a visit by anyone who comes here. It really makes you reflect on the human cost of that war.

One of the interesting things on display, I thought, was a Japanese "long lance" torpedo that was dropped on Dec. 7th, but failed to run. It was recovered by accident a few years ago when the harbor was being dredged.

Captain Kurt,

Obama's vacation didn't screw things up for you too much, did it? Talon used to gripe about that...

Shadow Wolf 07.

Listening to that song isn't the same without the girl by the pool in Christmas Vacation. :jump:
