Merry Pigmas, and all that other stuff....

Well, heck, if he's going to do a An-72, why not a Boeing YC-14?

Oh, nevermind - the 72/74 went into production, but not the 14...

Brian

I finally got around to trying this one out...

SQUEE!!!

It's great fun. Thanks Tim, I really appreciate the work you do :ernae:

Or even odder, the AN-71(?) AWACS variant of the AN-72, with the radar mounted atop the tail... I know that was cancelled as well, but it's definitely a Peculiar Plane! :icon_lol:

I've finally downloaded this and will install it next year, seeing as that starts in less than an hour.

Thanks Tim! :applause:

That would be a great one as well. There is a good one for FS2002, which was ported over to FS9, by Dimitry Samborsky i think. It would be great to see one in FSX as well.:applause:
Did you know there is a version that could be used as a CAS/ bomber version as well, with guns near the landing gear bay, rocket pods under the wings (pylon) and bomb racks internally in the tail under the cargo bay door! It was/is meant for the Russian ministry of interior/border troops.

Thats right warrant mate I think it had guns ahead of its main wheel bay buldges, rocket pods and bombs a trully mad idea but it must have worked as I think they used them in Afghanistan in the 80's, not sure how they used them though! I think the silver fairing is the gun!

"Gordon Bennett!"
Sorry to read your gills are greening, meself I just coughed up a North Sea tide pool or something quite like it. All the same, be right over with a few dozen Mad Dogs for medicinal purposes, :guinness::guinness::guinness::guinness: and a chin wag. I'm known as the Dickens of gab and gossip but who the dickens is this bloody Dickens?
And a good New Year to you and all you love.

Take a walk thru the interior...

Tim,
A beautiful job..!
Nice touch with the builders plate and the interior..

Thanks,

tc

Cool Tweek, Tweek. can you post the new effect numbers / and tinkering you did...Would be much appreciated :applause:

I changed the alignment slightly, as the original was too low for the CS effects:
[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=-10.00, -12.80, 9.4, cs130_smoke
smoke.1=-10.00, 12.80, 9.4, cs130_smoke

Also I edited the transparency of the smoke, as I think CS overdid it with theirs. The early C-130s do smoke a fair bit, but their engines shouldn't look like they're on fire!

Open up the cs130_smoke.fx file in notepad and change "Color Start=75, 75, 75, 10" to "Color Start=75, 75, 75, 5".

The An-32 is a very smoky beast though, so it's still a fairly thick trail.

Thank you very much Tweek,
did you have to add any gauge to the AN-32 panel from the cs-130

Nope, it just works as a normal smoke system does (you'll have to press I, it's not auto-smoke... I haven't a clue about gauges).

What a pleasure to fly this fantastic Plane - great plane, great paints, great additions - thats make me happy :icon_lol:

Autofeather/prop-sync question

Piglet, i have two small questions about the AN-32;

1) is there a prop-sync feature/button?
2) While running the engines a have a "Autofeather Off" light, but i fail to find an autofeather on/off switch. Where is this located?

Piglet, can you provide me with answers on the above questions?

Thanks in advance :salute:

Cheers, Warrant
