Hooraw,

I need a picture. Also, what does your scenery.cfg file look like? Do you have Afnor, Part I installed?

Have Afnor part I
Here are the screenies:

Hooraw,

Youz a missing some textures there, sport. Make sure you copied the textures from the scenedb\world\texture folder to the "root" folder of your CFS2 installation where you're flying the FAA campaign. If that's not it, one of your folders, somewhere in your installation, is missing a slew of textures. I can also take a look at your scenery.cfg for you.

I think that should be the reason of these squares, from the Afnor_Part_I.doc:

You will to do that only one time that will be available for all the "G2k made" scenery you will install in the future .

Thanks to both of you, Rami And JB, got it (the message), and did it! Now back to Malta, have some phantom overlays of conflicting scenery, probably scenery not updated, how to find it? Found Rami's message to someone, about copying textures from "cfs2_eurw_LC_su_beta4" (Sander) to Malta 1 and 2. Where did this come from?

Did that and it improved Malta immensely, now I have textures that are dropping where the planes are off position due to the runways being misaligned to where the mission ( got a revelation) could it be the position of the runway in the Mission, which for the life of me, it does not make sense to have this, >why have runways in the selection mission after we have edited numbers galore in the "airbase.dat" file. One last item, how do we stop airplanes resisting taxiing, I recall something about the tail wheel? also because of knee deep scenery, get prop strikes and ended flight session. arrggh Anyone?

Hooraw,

Again, pictures and a copy of your scenery.cfg would be appreciated. I have an idea of what might be going on, but need more information. The FAA campaign is based on the Malta V2 scenery. Is that what you are using?

I ask because the V1 and V2 versions of Malta are different in terms of runway placement and other matters.

jpg 000 shows knee deep in green layer, and looking at above shot in last pic, show a/c lined up on button, yet attempts to t/off get prop strikes, and physical crashes of a/c, tried wellington, showed ok, engine start ok, attempted to taxi, it pointed skyward and blew up. Fun in the slow lane?

Hooraw,

Did you build this on a completely fresh install? The reason why I ask is that it looks like something is running interference. Possibly, you might be sitting on a runway that lies underneath the other airfield at Ta'Qali. That's the best idea I have right now, but I will continue to explore.
